Katikati

Katikati, known as ‘the Mural Town of New Zealand is located in the Bay of Plenty between Tauranga and Waihi and services the local community, with kiwifruit and avocado orcharding being its main local industries. Katikati is conveniently located close to Tauranga Harbour and Waihi Beach and less than an hours drive from Tauranga. In recent years it has become a popular district to move to, for people who are seeking a mild climate, in a small town close to larger population centres.

Katikati is also home to a thriving croquet club! The club has five full-size greens and a comfortable club house situated among lovely old established trees in the Hunter Reserve, with a splendid view to the ever-changing colours of the Kaimai Range to the west.
